三鹿毒奶粉事件迅速扩大，越来越多患有肾结石的婴儿被发现，广东也陆续收治相关病例。而在事件被最早曝光的甘肃，已出现与三鹿奶粉密切联系的死亡报告。前日，三鹿公司先是矢口否认，但很快就改变说法，承认奶粉受到污染。昨天，三鹿公司又给出调查结果，所谓污染是由奶农在原奶中掺加三聚氰胺造成，石家庄还据此传唤了嫌疑人员。事态目前在国内继续蔓延，这场危机闹得沸沸扬扬。
对三鹿公司来说，眼下所发生的一切都是致命的。在过去的数十小时内，这家曾经享有“国家免检产品”等诸多殊荣的奶制品企业异常焦虑，立场反复更迭。尽管三鹿公司急于与事件撇清关系，试图从生产方面证明自身的清白，不过从密集披露的信息看，它的解释存在着许多自相矛盾之处。它正在进行的危机公关处置令人心意难平。
根据南方周末记者调查，今年上半年，全国至少有8个地方的医院分别收治了少则3例、多则20例的肾结石婴儿；江苏某医院医生认为婴儿结石病呈暴发之势。而在这些不幸的病例背后，所有的矛头都指向三鹿奶粉。然而在接报和投诉之后，无论是监测机构还是三鹿自检，都给出了奶粉合格的检测报告。逐渐浮现的证据证明，就在家长们普遍怀疑却被敷衍的同时，三鹿已经知道奶粉有问题。
早在今年3月中旬，三鹿公司就接到消费者反映，有婴儿吃了婴幼儿奶粉后，竟然表现出肾结石症状。而据财经网消息，该公司的销售代表在6月份就明确获悉奶粉被污染，然而并未采取公开的挽救措施，仍然如常出售。再据三鹿公司的说法，在8月1日就知道原奶中被加入了三聚氰胺。然而，所有这些信息并没有在当时公布，一再延误。对此中隐瞒的缘由，三鹿公司拒绝回应。
如今，三鹿公司将全部责任推给“不法奶农”，试图与其相切割，大有将事故责任甩给别人的意图。可是，这仅仅是三鹿公司单方面结论。退一万步讲，即便假设其成立，为何三鹿公司在收购环节未曾有丝毫发觉？而三聚氰胺能通过三鹿公司自称的1100多道检测程序，生产环节怎么会毫无干系？国家权威结论尚未形成，三鹿公司却抬出“挡箭牌”，再加上此前的有意瞒混，大有转移问题焦点的嫌疑。
对于生产上的责任故意回避，在毒奶粉造成不可逆转的危害后，又以虚假的态度混淆舆论，三鹿公司可以说是一错再错。甚至，被三鹿奶粉伤害的婴儿和家庭都听不到一声道歉。三鹿为求自保，似乎一切手段都能采用，唯独漠视人命。在封存和收回数千吨问题奶粉后，对市面上残存的700吨毒奶粉迟迟不加有效干预，它们流通的地区、产品批次等关键信息统统压着不报，对可以救命的预警视而不见。
如果按照三鹿婴幼儿奶粉“U+配方”系列的规格，一听奶粉900克，700吨问题奶粉就可以分装70多万桶。如此换算，并非要激起恐慌，而是说明显而易见的危险性。这种危险分布在农村或信息闭塞之地。从三鹿公司迄今的言行看，并没能从生产商应有的责任出发给予缓解。为减少毒奶粉的社会危害，让民众充分了解危险的程度及广度极其紧要，三鹿公司从一开始就漠视消费者权益，无视自身问题产品可能造成的生命危害。
卫生部已证实，三鹿奶粉中的三聚氰胺造成婴儿的泌尿系统结石。这等于初步坐实了三鹿公司的责任。余下的将是对责任的分配和相应的惩罚。“奶农投毒说”也将接受审核，以判断它的真假。“结石婴儿”事件也显露了质检等政府监管力量的冷漠，但追究全面责任的前提是盯牢问题的核心，亦即着重识别三鹿公司的所作所为。可以确定的是，毒奶粉的受害者还将增加，但三鹿公司绝非受害者。
